Summer is here and Miki is working on two milestones...

Summer is here. Daniela and Eva finished school on Friday May 27th... so now I need to work on activities and things to do with the girls this summer so that they have fun and learn. We will be doing alot of play-learn activities and outside the house trips to cool and fun places!! This is our first week!!!! Hopefully the summer will go by fast and they will be back in school at the end of August!

As for Miki- she is working on 2 milestones that I am sure she will get soon. Yesterday she started trying to crawl on her mat... or might i say... soldier crawl because she has yet to pull herself on all fours. She does pull herself forward and backwards when she rolls of the mat onto the laminate floors to get what she wants. She is also rotating her body to where she wants to go and rolling around like crazy... dont remember when she accomplished those two tasks... but she is getting around! And last night she woke up crying in the middle of the night and I let her calm herself down... and she did. I think she figured out how to put her pacifier in her mouth because soon she was quite. Then today after her morning nap she was crying... I walked in and she is half asleep crying trying to put her pacifier in her mouth... so that is how I got to the conclusion that last night she did the same! She is working well on her hand coordination! Hurray Miki!

Sunday walk...

This past Sunday turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL day! It was a little chilly but warm at the same time until late in the afternoon when the temps changed! So after the girls nap we went to the park for a bit and then to visit Papa Walter. I strapped on Mikaela and put Dani and Eva in the stroller! The girls had a great time! Here are some pictures my dad took of us leaving his house! Thanks Dad!

Mikaela slept hours straight

Mikaela slept for the first time 8 hours last night and is still asleep while I type (it's 9:10 am right now). She went to bed at 9:30 and woke up about 5:30 and went back to sleep after nursing. I had to pump this morning because I was in so much pain since she did not nurse very long! Oh I hope this continues. She has been a little sick with a stuffy nose but no fever. I have a sore throat and hope that she does not have that... because if she does I feel so bad!!! I hate this weather... the girls are ALWAYS SICK!!!!!! Maybe the little bit of Tylenol that I gave Mikaela last night let her rest and the fact that I inclined her mattress to allow her to breath better. Either way, I hope she continues to sleep like this!!!!!!!!!

Mikaela is 2 months

Mikaela is 2 months now. She is a great baby. Sleeps alot! And for the past 3 weeks or so she has been sleeping 6 hours straight at night! Awesome for me! I can't wait until she sleeps more!!!!! She started last week sucking her hand and 2 fingers. And today for the first time I put her on a play mat gym and she was excited and started kinda reaching for the toys to move them. She even fell asleep on their while I put the other two girls down for a nap. ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is soooooo cute!
