We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Eva's baptism with all our family and a couple of close friends! We went to mass early in the morning- at 8am like usual- so that Daniela and Eva would be rested for the 3 pm ceremony. We got home after mass and some errands and Eva fell asleep but Daniela was still running around with energy- she did not nap. But it all turned out well because Dani slept threw half of the ceremony and then was held in Misael's arms and then taken care by Tio Dan since her little cousins were next to us. Eva did great- she was all smiles and she didn't cry. We want to give a special thank you to Eva's Padrinos for sponsoring the bible, rosary, and candle. But also a special thank you for her special surprise gift of the necklace and cross- it's beautiful and I hope she does not rip it off her neck!
After the baptism we came home to our house for some food and cake. We had a GREAT WEEKEND! Here are some pictures courtesy of my dad- thank you papi for the pictures! Thanks for coming to join us in the celebration of her first sacrament. Thanks also to my sister and her family for traveling from Oklahoma to join us for the baptism!
